No.  We are doing our 2017 returns.  You need a 2017 W2.  Or do you mean for the AGI at the end when you file?

NO!!!!!!   The current online software is only for a 2017 tax return. Your W-2 has to say 2017 on it.

 Do not use a 2016 W-2 in the online software.

Do you need to file a 2016 tax return?  Post back if you have not yet filed your 2016 tax return and we will tell you what to do.

To complete and file a 2016 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer, Win or Mac, one of the 2016 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2016 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

If you have a simple return, you can fill out the blank forms by hand for free.

Prior year returns can only be printed and mailed. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.
