Long story short: Family filing as married filing jointly with two dependents all applied for - and each received - individual IP PINs from the IRS. It now appears that Turbo Tax only allows entry of individual PINs for tax filer and spouse, and not for their dependents. Does this mean this family cannot use Turbo Tax to file their federal taxes for 2021 and beyond (as IRS will reject returns due to no entry of dependents' PINs?
Please advise.
Thanks.

The regular Efiling PIN is 5 digits and will be encountered during the process of efiling.
If you have a 6-digit IP PIN to enter, here's where to enter it.
· FEDERAL TAXES tab. (or Personal tab in Home and Business)
· Then sub tab "Other Tax Situations."
· Scroll down to "Other Return Info".
· Find subtopic "Identity Protection PIN", and click START.
Do we do this for each family member who has an IP PIN including dependents?
ALL IP PINS for everyone listed on the return are entered in the same place ... always has and always will ...
