No Foreign taxes but turbo tax is requiring completion of form 1116

My federal tax under "smart review" is requiring information on form 1116 about whether foreign taxes were paid or accrued.  I don't have any foreign accounts, holdings, income etc. so I do I correct this?

Go to Forms and find form 1116, and delete it.
Go to Forms worksheet and see if you can find where it asks about foreign taxes and make sure there isn't a checkmark to say yes.

That should get rid of it.

If you have a brokerage account with dividend income, part of the dividends may be derived from a mutual fund or ETF with international investments. If you have a 1099-DIV form, click on Edit next to it to see if there is foreign tax paid reported in Box 7.
