No e-file allowed due to MO-2NR calculation

-TurboxTax 2022 Premier Windows download version

-MO-1040 with MO2NR

details:

in Payments/Credits section after MO-1040 line 36, B Nonresident partners of S corporation shareholders, enter a NumberA (which comes form MO2NR;) and, NumberA will be automatically copy to MO-1040 line 39 and 44.

But TurboTax shows error:

"Form MO-1040: Tax payment from Form(s) MO-2NR should not be greater than the total Missouri withholding amount. Tax payment from MO-2NR: NumberA"

due the MO resource is from a partnership and only received MO2NR, no W2 or 1099 be sent.

MO-1040 Line 37, "Missouri tax withheld - attach Forms W-2 and 1099," is empty.

only Line 39 and 44 both have the NumberA, same as the one of MO-2NR.

The program does keep showing this check error and would not allow e-file of MO state return. Please advise.

No e-file allowed due to MO-2NR calculation

Did contact the 800 number but get a link from email.  no answer of my question.

No e-file allowed due to MO-2NR calculation

So you are looking for the Total amount of Taxes withheld for the State of MO entered on the tax return. If you go to the left hand panel for tax tools, tools again, view tax summary, then view MO you should see the total amount of taxes withheld for the state return. Enter that number in the section that is recording the error. This should correct the issue at hand.

If that doesn't correct the issue because there is no tax withheld simply enter 0.00 in the form field with the error and that will rid your error and you can continue to file. I do recommend running another error check before hitting the last stage for finish and file.

No e-file allowed due to MO-2NR calculation

Thanks for reply. but I did check and try many times. please see below.

after check errors before e-file, the tool shown below error and let me manual to modify MO-1040:

Turbotax Premier show:

"Form MO-1040: Tax payment from Form(s) MO-2NR should not be greater than the total Missouri withholding amount. Tax payment from MO-2NR: MyNumber ( this field can be manual input and will update line B of Missouri Income Tax Withheld for Nonresidents Smart Worksheet)

the fields of Missouri Income Tax Withheld for Nonresidents Smart Worksheet

A: empty (cannot be modified)

B: MyNumber (can be modified; and will copy to MO-1040 line 39)

C: empty (can be modified; and copy to MO-1040 line 40)

"Missouri Income tax withheld for line 37. Subtract lines B and C from line A": empty (cannot be modified)

then, the MO-1040 form:

37: empty (cannot be modified) "Missouri tax withheld - attach Forms W-2 and 1099"

38: empty (can be modified)

39: MyNumber (cannot be modified)

40: empty (cannot be modified)

41: empty (cannot be modified)

42: empty (can be modified)

43: empty (can be modified)

44: MyNumbery (sum of line 37 to 43)

then, try to "Transmit Returns Now"

Turbotax Premier back to:

"Form MO-1040: Tax payment from Form(s) MO-2NR should not be greater than the total Missouri withholding amount. Tax payment from MO-2NR: MyNumber ( this field can be manual input and will update line B of Missouri Income Tax Withheld for Nonresidents Smart Worksheet)

the only way is "Change Filing Method" can work. The program error still.
