-MO-1040 with MO2NR
details:
in Payments/Credits section after MO-1040 line 36, B Nonresident partners of S corporation shareholders, enter a NumberA (which comes form MO2NR;) and, NumberA will be automatically copy to MO-1040 line 39 and 44.
But TurboTax shows error:
"Form MO-1040: Tax payment from Form(s) MO-2NR should not be greater than the total Missouri withholding amount. Tax payment from MO-2NR: NumberA"
due the MO resource is from a partnership and only received MO2NR, no W2 or 1099 be sent.
MO-1040 Line 37, "Missouri tax withheld - attach Forms W-2 and 1099," is empty.
only Line 39 and 44 both have the NumberA, same as the one of MO-2NR.
The program does keep showing this check error and would not allow e-file of MO state return. Please advise.
