No CD Version of 2024 TurboTax Home and Business

I have been using TurboTax Home and Business (CD Version) since 2006.  Now I find out that you are no longer going to issue a version with the CD in 2024.  This presents a HUGE problem for me because I am UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD IT FROM THE INTERNET.  I live in rural North Carolina where the only internet available is EXTREMELY SLOW (1.2 mbps) and UNRELIABLE DSL.  What am I supposed to do?

As of 12/20/24, Looks like you can buy an install CD for $10 after you buy a License Code

That's great news!!!!! Just to be clear:  I would buy the Download version from say Amazon to get product key ... Right?

Yes.   You will still have to go online to activate with the License Code and register.  And to update the program and to efile.

This is really awful that you can't just go to Target and buy TurboTax on a CD anymore. Way to stick it to your long time customers Intuit. Maybe it's time for us to switch to H&R Block which is still available at Target.

@HVL You can purchase H & R Block software from Target---but it will be a download.  H & R Block has discontinued CD's.

This is really annoying that we just can’t simply go to the store in 2025 & buy the CD, now I have to buy the downtown & wait about 2 weeks before I can even get started on my taxes, not cool TurboTax - I am very disappointed in you!!!

Why do you have to wait 2 weeks?  For what?  As soon as  you buy the program with a License code you can download it.

I buy mine at Costco online.    I installed the program right away.
