I never received my federal return for 2021, checking with the IRS it says it was accepted and then deposited April 22 2022 but I called my bank and there is no record of that deposit. I checked my bank account and routing number in Turbo tax and it was done correctly. I tried calling the IRS but it sent me in circles and I couldn't talk to a real person
Where did it end up? is there anywhere/one I should contact now besides the IRS? Not sure how to solve this
If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
