First off I was told I'd have my tax return by the 22nd it is now the 5th 4th or 5th of March second of all the whole reason that I go through TurboTax is because it's something were to happen I assumed that you guys would be the one to let me know so my identity got stole a few times last year now the IRS won't release my tax return until I prove my identification I want to know why the hell TurboTax did not inform me of this. Also I will not be paying the fee of 128 that you charge me to do my taxes when you cannot hold it to the end of your deal. I would like a return call or email back immediately to help me with this problem you have my email and my phone number thank you very much.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2023 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Sometimes the IRS chooses returns randomly to request verification of identity and sometimes there is something on the return that triggers the request. No matter why the IRS has required you to verify your identity, you need to follow their instructions in order to receive your refund. If you do not verify your identity you will not get your refund.
