Need to install two different Turbo Tax products on my laptop

I have Turbo tax Deluxe installed for my individual return.  I also purchased and am trying to install the Home and Business product for a different tax return, but the install process won't let me install this second product.  What do I need to get around this so that I work on both products on my laptop?

There is no need to install two versions of 2024 desktop software and you will not be able to do that.  Every version of the desktop software has all the forms and all the schedules.   Purchasing a second 2024 desktop software program was a waste of money for which you should seek a refund.   You can use the Deluxe software for all of your returns or if you really want to, you can upgrade the Deluxe to Home and Business and pay just the difference in price between Deluxe and Home and Business.

Thanks for the quick response.  I should have been clearer.  I need to file two returns.  A personal return using Turbo Tax Deluxe and a second return for a trust using the Home and Business product but I get an error when installing the Hone and Business product.   How do I fix this so I have both programs installed on my laptop.

You can do all the returns with 1 program.  Home & Business is just another personal return with extra help for Schedule C self employment.  You can use Deluxe for both returns.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms. 

For a Trust you need the separate Business program not Home & Business.

You can buy the stand alone do it yourself Business Download program for Windows here (it is not available to do online or for Mac).
