Need to File an Amended return for 2023 taxes created using TurboTax Premier Online

Hello, when I started my 2024 taxes using Turbo Tax Premier Online, I discovered that I made a mistake on my 2023 taxes. I need to amend my 2023 return.

I've looks at many articles that say 

TurboTax Online
On the Tax Home screen, scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and select the year you want to amend.
Select the Amend (change) return dropdown, then Amend using TurboTax Online.

I don't have an Amend(change) return option, just download. I have not submitted my 2024 return yet using the online version of Turnbo tax, because I want to address the amened 2023 return first. From what I have read the 2024 version is ONLY for 2024. I have also read that I needed to download the 2023 Desktop version, which I cannot find. I have tried two different browsers and cleared cache in both, to no avail. Please help! Thank-you.

You do not have to amend your return if you have not submitted it.  You can edit the return instead.  If you started the filing process and need to edit, follow these steps:

1. Select State Return
2. Select Add a State (you will not add a state, but this will open the returns backup to make changes).
3. Go to the section you wish to change and make changes.
