LA state taxes are withheld on 100% of her wages. Since she works 60% of the time while in TX, should she file a nonresident LA state tax return using only 40% of her wages which should result in a refund? Thanks!

Louisiana nonresidents must file if they have any Louisiana-source income and are required to file a Federal income tax return.
You will file a nonresident Louisiana tax return. In TurboTax Online, you are able to allocate the Louisiana wages at the screen Louisiana Income Allocation.
Retain the computation of the taxable Louisiana income and any backup documentation that would support your tax return numbers should a tax authority request information at a later time.

Thanks very much JamesG1! That's good news. I will plan to file both a federal income and nonresident LA state tax returns using TurboTax Online and will be sure and allocate the 40% Louisiana wages at the screen Louisiana Income Allocation and will keep the calculations/backup documentation that you suggest I retain.
I appreciate your help, btk_1.
