my Turbotax Premier program has made a significant error in determining my taxes!!!

No one can see your tax return but you.  Please provide details on the error.  What form, what line?

Why do you think that ?    Did you have qualifying dividends or long term capital gains ?   If so the taxes are not taken from the standard chart ... save a PDF with the worksheets to see the calculations.

When I enter my social Security info it credits me with a $31,000 tax credit!! And a huge refund!!!

Are you referring to Social Security benefits reported to you on a SSA-1099?  Or are you referring to the Social Security taxes withheld on W-2 box 4?
