My state refund tax is too high. Its around 40,000. What do I do to fix this?

I think the only thing different from my last year taxes is that I do support myself currently. Last year I put I didnt support myself.

Sounds like you have a decimal error or you added too many zeros somewhere. Go back and check the amounts you entered from boxes 16 and 17 of your W-2's.
