My son is in the Marine reserves, however, his unit didn't meet at all during 2021. He received no income from the military. Will he get a W2 showing this?

Can I just not show for this at all?

You will not receive a W-2 if there is no income to report. There is no need to enter anything for his reserve position for 2021.
