My son is filing separately. Should I include him with me and my wife's joint filing?

If he is filing as an independent on his own return, then no, you would not include him on your filing.

If he is filing as a dependent, then yes, you would include him on your return.

But do not enter your son's income on your own return. His income goes on only his return.
