My returns got rejected because I thought I was supposed to add both of my job earnings from 2024. Can't they just look at my early since they have my paperwork?

ALL of your 2024 W-2's are supposed to be entered on your tax return.  You file ONE 2024 tax return with all of your 2024 income on it.  If your e-file was rejected----what is the rejection message?

You received an email that we cannot see that tells you why your tax return was rejected.

Some rejected returns can be fixed and re-filed.  Some have “un-fixable” reasons for the rejection and have to be mailed instead.

What is the rejection code or rejection message?

If it was rejected for AGI—-your 2023 AGI might not be in the IRS system if you filed late.   Try using zero instead.

If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year.  The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.

What?  It would not reject for that.  What is the reject message or code?   You are suppose to enter all your 2024 W2s and all your income on the same tax return.   Did you already file the first W2?   Then tried to file the other one?  You can’t do that.   If the first tax return was accepted you need to wait for the IRS to finish processing it and you get the first refund.  Then can file an Amended return to add more to it.
