An employer identification number has to be 9 digits. You have only entered 8 digits. If this is on the form you received from the employer you need to contact the employer for a corrected form

That's the DFAS 1099-R error....should have a final "2"

I got a corrected 1099-R after filing my taxes. Pa... (intuit.com)
