Qualified business entities and individuals use Form 7205 to:
If that does not apply to you, delete the form.
But the problem is on row 27b, not the entire Schedule C, and thus I can't delete the Schedule C, but TurboTax won't allow me to delete the zero from the row 27b no matter how many times I tried. Even reboot the PC won't work.
Delete Form 7205 - not the Schedule C. You can delete the entry on the Schedule C Worksheet if you are using the desktop program. It is the last item on the worksheet. @NJPhil
Same issue here. Using the desktop version and it will not allow me to file electronically without Form 7205. Form 7205 is not even listed in my forms list nor do I have a Schedule C for this LLC.
This is a bug in the software that needs to be fixed. Cannot even find form 7205 anywhere in my forms list and I need to get my taxes filed. With the price of this software package, I should not have to deal with these types of frustrations.
The information needed in that form didn’t even apply to me. I was able to delete that on my return
We are using online version and can't get around that form. We don't have a building.
Several users who have stated that they do not own or rent any real estate or property for business have reported that they were still being prompted to complete this form, and it was preventing e-filing.
Users encountering this situation have found the following solution works when using TurboTax Home and Business:
In Business Expenses, under Other Common Business Expenses, search the list and you will find "Energy Efficient Buildings". Select Update and delete the 0 amount or other amount that appears. This should resolve the issue.
Just want to confirm that this did in fact work for me. I had a zero in there and when I took it out, it stopped asking for the form. Thanks!
Delete the zero, don't put anything in the column, worked for me...
It would not let us remove the 0 on the line. Endless loop. Even deleted Schedule C and tried again same result.
This could be the result of using Turbo Tax vs others.
Oh my gosh!!!!! That WORKED! THANK YOU so much!!!!!!!!!!
This is the only answer that worked. Thank you!!
You have to Right Click the area - then select "Overide" then you can delete the '0.'
