It just showed up like last time. Pending for the 24th
@mhenry530 did you get your first payment on the 17th? Maybe I’ll get my other half on the 25th 🤞🏼.
Yes the 17th and now the 24th.
@Jennyd80 Yes the membership fee is part of your stimulus LOL.
Same here. Its amazing how many of us in same predicament and irs. Turbotax has no clue why. I talked with turbotax and they have no idea
My husbands wheres my pymt says 17th and mine says accepted but no deposit date and we got 2100 on the 12th
Says same here too
We do not know why something less than the full amount was issued. We do not know when or how the additional third stimulus amounts will be processed.
Has your 2020 Federal 1040 tax return been filed and accepted? Perhaps the IRS is waiting to compare this payment to your 2020 tax information.
This TurboTax Help states:
Do I need to do anything to get my stimulus check?
You don’t need to do anything to get your stimulus check. The IRS will determine eligibility based on your last tax return (either 2019 or 2020) and will likely send your payment to the bank account where your tax refund was deposited.
Perhaps, at some point soon, the 2020 Federal 1040 tax return information will be updated and the full payment issued but we do not know what the IRS plans to do. The IRS could, again, use the 2021 Federal 1040 tax return to reconcile the third stimulus payments.
Follow the TurboTax COVID Tax Center and the IRS Economic Impact Payment Information Center as further updates are issued by the IRS.
Went on the IRS site and checked "Get My Payment" again and my husband's deposit date changed from the 17th to the 24th...maybe they're making the corrections. Yay! Mine still says the 17th which is when half was deposited.
@Kimberly1103 I just checked Same here! Thank you for sharing!
Me too! I guess we will see on Wednesday
This year has brought challenges. The IRS is required to reconcile the tax returns and stimulus payments as well as working on the third stimulus payments due to the American Rescue Plan. With the tax season and the changes taking place all at once, a delay should be expected for full payments. They want to be diligent and are required to follow any protocols they have been issued. They will make any adjustments and additional payments as they complete the process.
The main action was to file your 2020 tax return, if that is complete and accepted you should be assured that you will receive what you are entitled to.
I had already filed my 2020 tax (filing jointly) and I have a dependent. On 17th I received only the half stimulus. When I am checking on IRS Payment status it was showing the deposit date as 17th for both of us. But while I am checking today (3/22) , for my spouse's payment status changed the deposit date as March 24th. So I hope they sending the payments as batch. Hope for best.
The other $2100 finally showed up for the party! Better late than never!
The first round of payments for the third stimulus was not the full amount so continue to watch for any balance you are entitled to. The IRS will continue to send payments and process returns at the same time. They are behind with all the changes and challenges. They must also follow the instruction they have been given. Continue to watch for the rest of your third stimulus payments. Here is the most recent updated information for the third economic impact payment (EIP) stimulus payments. IRS EIP3 page
