My disabled/dependent sister whom I claimed as my dependent passed away in 2016, can I claim her for this year's taxes?

My dependent sister, that I have been claiming as a dependent, passed away in May of 2016, can I claim her on my 2016 taxes this year?

Yes, If your sister met the qualifications that are required by the IRS to be claimed as a dependent, then you can claim her, even she passed away.
