My account is still showing I haven't finished my 2023 taxes even though I paid 221.00 for the assistance and it wont let me do anything to file for this years.

I've tried calling and that stupid computer cant help. I just want someone to help clear this matter up so I can file my 2024 taxes

You should be able to prepare and file your 2024 tax return no matter what status your 2023 return is in. What is preventing you from filing the 2024 return? What happens when you try to transmit the 2024 return?
