How long ago was your e-file accepted?

Sometimes people get confused by the “summary” given by TurboTax and use the wrong amount for the federal refund. Make sure you are only using the federal refund amount, and not an amount that combined your federal and state refunds.
Your federal refund amount is on line 20 of your Form 1040

Yoiu might try calloing the IRS at one if its "help" numbers, or using the "where's my refund" feature of the IRS. IF calling, try calling the second that telephone number becomes available for use and plan on being on hold for a few hours. For safety ( and slowness) file a paper return instead of electronic next time (certified mail, return receipt).
