Must I pay for 2 Turbotax products? I'm retired w $4,000 in consulting income. Will do a Schedule C. I use "Premier" but it's telling me I need "Self-employed"

Yes if you are using the Online versions you need to upgrade to the Self Employed version to fill out schedule C. It's not 2 products. You just need to upgrade.

If you buy the Desktop CD/Download program then any version will have schedule C. All the Desktop programs have all the same forms, you just get more help in the higher versions. You can see the Desktop programs here,
