I have multiple 1099-B and only have 8949's for one of them. Why can't I see all of them?
And I have 107 transactions on one 1099-B and TT splits into a review group of 1-100 and 101-107, but when I try to edit 101-107 the program says there are no sales on that page (wrong!).
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You have to go directly to the sales in 101 - 107 without editing any in the first 100. If you edit any in the first 100 it won't let you edit in the higher numbers.
re the "missing" 8949s did you import all the 1099-Bs or input some of them; if they are input as "sales summary" totals rather than "one by one" and there are no adjustments then the totals go in Schedule D Line 1a/8a and there is no Form 8949 detail required.
