Ally is now updating correctly
So how did it get fixed plz?
If you need assistance with Mint, please chat with a Mint chat support agent here, so they can take a closer look.
Just went through the same steps (reconnecting Ally to Mint) and it connected. Looks like Mint or Ally fixed the connection issue. You should be able to reconnect now if you go through the steps again.
It may well be that it's working again on its own - that's great. You will still need to go through the reconnect process (I imagine) and enter the new code.
Another community member (@22Lulu22) also suggested, in another thread, taking these steps:
I logged into Ally and went to the Telebanking Security section. I updated my security question and PIN.
Went back to Mint and refreshed...got the message saying Ally needed to reconnect...hit the reconnect button.....then it brought up a page saying Ally needed to send me a code....entered the code from my phone...and Mint refreshed.

I tried this before trying to reconnect and found success. It's possible it would have worked anyway, but posting this here because it certainly did not hurt.
Also, as noted by others -- the seemingly bot-like "support" messages that keep popping up saying, "reach out to Mint support" and "visit the Mint Help Center" are totally useless and even, dare I say, rather offensive. Please stop wasting our time. We've tried all that and been told to come here. Intuit should know better AND do better. This whole thing was handled badly from start to end.
I don't see any "mark as best answer" option. Where is this supposed to be?
