May a person "white out" or erase on a hand written state return?
I used my free state return and did not want to pay $44 for Mo State Return (second state). I completed the forms I received in the mail in ink, then realized I made a mistake. I whited out and wrote over mistake. I am cautious about filling in a form online.
Just wondering if it is acceptable to whiteout or erase on a State Income Tax Form.
Thanks

I would think that would be fine as long as it is legible. We all used to prepare our returns manually!
