There are a couple of solutions:
I hadn't even thought of the second option until just now. VirtualBox is free, and I've used it a little bit, seems OK. It's be worth trying. Parallels Desktop costs money, but is a dedicated Mac product. To get full support you have to pay for a subscription plan. VMWare Fusion also costs money, but I notice they now have a "free" version which looks like it's adequate to run a MacOS VM on a Mac. However, VMWare acquired Fusion, and their Mac support doesn't seem great. But to just run TurboTax, I think any of these will work.
Some have mentioned the online option, but is that available for all Turbo Tax products? E.g., I use Home and Business desktop for Mac, and it's not clear to me from Turbo Tax's website whether that's available online. And even if it were available, is the functionality the same?
BTW, if you have an older Mac, another option is to install Windows 10 using Bootcamp or Parallels and run the PC version of TurboTax. If you have a MacBook Pro, Air, Mini, or iMac made in 2012 or later, you can install Windows 10. And Windows 10 should be supported by Intuit for at least a few more years.
