You worked in NY for the full year, so your income is taxable for the entire year there.
During the time you lived in NJ, your NY income was taxable by NJ as well (though they should allow a credit for tax paid to NY).

I believe you remove the NY amount from the NJ return, but it's probably good to check that you have followed the process for part-year returns correctly. These articles may help:
