Keeping products I review is considered compensation

If I am using this product to review it and it is supplied to me as income I bought it to do my job since amazon vine program is saying it's compensation. can I write it off? If this is a business and I basically bought it since it was counted at full price as on my 1099 as compensation then this is not a free product and I bought it to do this job. So this would be a write off as long as I review it. I may have to use the product and update my reviews to make sure the product was of high quality. I got to wash it, wear it etc. If it's a cat treat I have to feed it to my cat then write reviews and updates about it. At the end of this review process I need to gather this up and then store it or donate it or throw it out.

Amazon Vine income is self employment income and is reported on Schedule C. You will pay regular income tax plus self employment tax on the income. You can deduct on your Schedule C any business related expenses such as a percentage of internet use if applicable.

I use every product given and I have to keep it for 6 months. Are these products supplies needed to do the job? I can't do the job without them.
