K1s and Form 4797

In several years including 2022, I was able to enter information on my K1 from Box 11 that would get moved to form 4797 Part II as an ordinary gain and loss.   This option in the form worksheet appears to be gone in 2024 and I'm unable to get my K1 info into form 4797.  I tried manually adding form 4797 but the fields are not editable.

Any advice?

You are correct. A Turbotax bug, that doesn't allow for entry of the additional info needed. I have no idea when they'll fix this issue because it seems to be a general problem for many of the lines on the K-1 where additional info needs to be entered.  This issue exists for online users but not for desktop users because they can switch to forms mode to enter the supplemental info.

I actually have the desktop version and have tried to add form 4797 manually with the workaround you suggested.  The problem is the table for Part II is not editable.  Any ideas?

I figured this out!  It turns out that while you can't enter entries directly into 4797 Part II, you can use the "sale of business property smart worksheet" to get the entry to show up there.
