i need to correct my mistake
Please clarify: What mistake have you made? Please provide details.
Based on the question at the top of the thread, you may be wondering if you can claim an exemption for yourself on your return.
In the past, a taxpayer, and his or her spouse if filing jointly, could claim personal exemptions for themselves, but that's no longer the case.
Please see the TurboTax Help article Can I claim myself or my spouse as a dependent? for additional details.
