itemized deduction and standard deduction

So my home property tax and mortgage interest paid already over the 25900$ standard deduction, why the program didn't switch to itemized deduction yet? Will it switch in the end?

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 capped the state and local tax (SALT) deduction which includes property taxes plus state and local income taxes or sales taxes paid during the year at $10,000 for tax years 2018 through 2025.
