It seems turbo tax won't let me go back and change something that I need to change. So I won't be using this site next year. And will not recommend it to anyone

What eventually worked was going back into my state return. After doing that I was able to access my federal return again. The search tool that is supposed to help do this was not there for me but the 5th expert I talked to found this work around. It’s a “product issue”. That’s what I was told.

@marybo Your issue is not clear.   You have added to a thread that already has posts from multiple users and we do not understand what issue you are having with your marital status.   Did you e-file already?   What problem are you having?

Click on State Taxes at the top of the desktop program screen and Continue.  Click on Edit for your state return.

I've done that many times. Doesn't work. It cycles me through every screen that I entered each time I hit edit

Save your tax return.  Close the TurboTax program.  Re-boot your computer.  Open the TurboTax program and see if the problem persists.  If it does then uninstall the program and re-install.  This will not delete your tax data since it is stored in Documents and in the TurboTax folder.

Figured it out. Had to keep entering edit to cycle to what I wanted. Dumb process. Also, TurboTax is not correct in the Pass-through Bonus Depreciation for MN. Turbotax says to enter the amount from line 5 of Schedule KPI. It should be line 4

In Turbo Tax online, I followed Regina's instructions  to go Search to find  Form  8949.

But there is no "Jump to" button - only descriptions of form 8949 and how it is supposed to work.

Regina or anyone,  please help me open form 8949 so I can edit entries which were incorrect on my Form 1099s. As things stand there are no edit buttons adjacent to many of my entries only on page three of the form, but not pages 1 and 2. 

Seems to be a software problem to me.
