Am I Head of Household?

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your filing status (single or married filing separately) into Personal Info, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.
Head of Household
You may be able to file as head of household if you meet all the following requirements.
1 You are unmarried or “considered unmarried” on the last day of the year. See Marital Status , earlier, and Considered Unmarried , later.
2 You paid more than half the cost of keeping up a home for the year.
3 A qualifying person lived with you in the home for more than half the year (except for temporary absences, such as school). However, if the qualifying person is your dependent parent, he or she doesn't have to live with you. See Special rule for parent , later, under Qualifying Person.
I qualify on all counts as HOH, yet am told I don't qualify and have no way to choose otherwise.

Who is the qualifying person that you have claimed as a dependent?
@Thorpe1987 Are you positive you qualify? Who is your qualified dependent? It must be someone related to you----it cannot be a girlfriend, boyfriend, etc.
I was not offered the option to claim head of household.
@lnchapman If the filing status of HOH was not offered to you, either you answered something incorrectly, or you do not meet the criteria to file as Head of Household. The qualifying dependent must be related to you---it cannot be a GF or BF, etc.

Head of Household is not a filing status to be selected. The TurboTax program has to verify that you are eligible for HOH. Your filing status is either Single or Married. If verified for by the program you will get Head of Household filing status.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for Head of Household when single - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-filing-status/qualify-head-household...

I do not have that option either
You select single or married, the program asks questions and determines if you are head of household.
You can go through the rules with a quick IRS quiz, What Is My Filing Status?
