IT KEEPS SAYING MY STATE TAXES ARE INCOMPLETE - IVE DONE THEM SEVERAL TIMES STILL COMES UP INCOMPLETE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY ANNOYING ALREADY PAID!!!

Your state return(s) may show a status of incomplete if you already filed your federal return by itself (or with another state).  If this is the case you can work on your state return now, but you will have to come back after your federal return is accepted to e-file it. E-filing a state by itself is only allowed once a federal return is accepted/rejected.

TurboTax will send you an email when the federal tax return has either been accepted or rejected by the IRS.  Your state return may not have all the forms and schedules included in the return available for filing.  See this TurboTax support FAQ for state forms availability.

To get back into your return after printing or e-filing, please follow the steps in this article:  How can I access my return after I've e-filed or printed it?

  1. If you have not completed your state return, click on the State Taxes tab.
  2. If you have completed your state return, click on the Review tab and go through the prompts to file your state return.

Have you filed your federal tax return?  Are all the forms and schedules on your state tax return finalized?  See this TurboTax support FAQ for state forms availability - <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1908857-state-forms-availability-table-for-turbotax-individual-per...>
