You would need the CD if your hard drive failed or you removed the TurboTax program from your computer and then find out that you need to amend the tax return.  Hopefully you have backed up your tax data file and any saved PDF's of your tax returns to other media.

To be safe, you should keep the CD and copies of your 2019 tax data file.  In the event that you ever needed to amend your 2019 tax return, then you would need to re-install the TurboTax program on your computer (if you deleted the program) and you would use the CD to do that.  Otherwise you would have to purchase the program again if you disposed of the CD.
