Thank you!! This worked!
I agree. It’s a bug. How to get around it is my question.
Delete the zero, leave that field blank - it won't prevent e-filing. @Shconfused
I tried a zero, I tried leaving it blank and it won’t clear. I don’t participate in it. I live out of state and I do not work in the city. Please help!
@Paul Mgo Thank you! Deleting the form worked. Really appreciate you taking the time to share this.
@675659787 mine didn't say IT-225. I found one that had 225 in the name (at the end of the name) and deleted that one and it worked. I was able to then e-file.
I have noticed a zero being input in the add/sub (225) worksheet. If you remove the zero, the needs review goes away. See the screenshot below:
To remove the 0, follow these steps:
Open TurboTax
Click forms in the upper right corner
Select Add/Sub (225)
remove all 0's, included the one for NY State allocated amount of above.
Thank you. That made the difference. It worked.
This was the correct answer!
You need to delete BOTH forms.
It won't let you delete IT-225 unless you delete the other one first and you will get stuck in a loop.
Thank you!! This worked! I was going crazy!
It seems i'm in the same boat as everyone else in this thread. I live in NJ, work in NY, and although i don't even have an FSA the system keeps asking me to enter something. Neither "0" or blank works. Super frustrating.
I ended up deleting the form and it let me proceed. Go to forms, delete the 225, and your all set.
Entering 0 or clearing the entry did not work. Deleting the form worked. Thanks very much!
Yes, it's the same issue. A zero got entered on a line that should be blank. Easiest solution was to have the cx delete the form under tax tools.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Between a chat session and telephone call, there were attempts, but no success in getting it through. Your reply did the trick! I hated the fact that yesterday when done, I was simply going to mail my file to NY State (I live in CT), but when downloaded, it says NY State requires it to be filed electronically! Definitely a bug TurboTax needs to fix! Thanks again!
This worked thank you! It was driving me crazy. However, given the cost of turbo tax this is an unacceptable glitch. Please fix asap!
