Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.
Rejected three times as well. 2020 returns were not processed till February of 2022. Try using a zero AGI for 2020. This seems to have worked for lot of us.
UPDATE: After four rejects, I entered ZERO for me and Federal was accepted!!! Our State is pending, but I'm sure it will go through too. Thanks to all for their help!!! There went an hour of my time. UGH. Off to supper now!

How do you check the status of a Federal return on the IRS website if you are not receiving a refund?
@tollLJ Nothing will be shown on the IRS refund site if you are not getting a refund. If you are waiting for them to withdraw a payment for tax due you just have to watch your own bank account or credit card account.

There is no way to check the status of a filed tax return if you do not have a tax refund.
If you have taxes owed and you paid the taxes owed with the tax return, on the IRS payment website or by using a credit card, the payment will be shown on your tax account when using this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account
Allow 3-4 weeks for your return to be processed by the IRS if you e-filed. If you filed a return by mail, it will take a lot longer. My 2020 paper return was processed five months after receipt. Hopefully that year was an exception.
I will not receive a refund, but when I checked into the IRS Site to view my account, (www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account) I was able to see the transcript of my 2021 submission, which I consider as a validation that it was accepted. That was only way I could see any confirmation.
How do I locate the number the IRS is looking for? The AGI entered should be correct.

The IRS had major problems in processing 2021 tax return so your 2021 AGI may not be in their database.
Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2021 AGI and e-file the 2022 tax return again.
