In my income section in TurboTax I have inputted all my investment related forms (1099-Div, 1099-INT, etc). I have triple checked EVERY NUMBER. When I look at my total wages and income section, the total for investment income is higher than the numbers I have input. Then when I click this new capital gains button, that number is also higher, and higher even than the total it shows on wages and income. Why is this happening??? How do I fix it? I have literally triple checked every single number.

where sre you looking - - in Turbotax summary or the actual return? Only the actual return matters.
Investment earnings commonly include interest, dividends, income from rental properties, royalties and the profit you earn from trading stocks.
I’m looking in the TurboTax summary. Which I would hope would be accurate….
how do I look at the actual form to see what that’s showing?
You can review the 1040 in TurboTax Online by following these directions.
You can print or view your full tax returns prior to filing after you have paid for the software.
Make sure that the Cx deletes all 1099-INT forms then enters them again manually. The total amount was overstated by the same amount listed for 1099-DIV.
