Installing Turbotax software updates

I have Turbotax 2020 for MACOS. Every time I bring up the app it wants to update the software. The problem is that after updating and installing when I try to bring it up it says it need to update again. That always takes two passes. Why do I need to do this almost every day, especially when I am nowhere near submitting to IRS.
