I am trying to import from Northwestern Mutual Inv Svs–NMIS on Turbo Tax Desktop on a Mac. A window pops to enter login and password, send a code to verify, but the forms aren't importing. When I click 'Get Forms' it sends me back to enter login and password again and code to verify. Please look into whether there is a technical issue with this partner. I am able to download the forms from NMIS as .pdf.

I'm having the same issue as of today's date... 3/1/2025
Somewhere in the back of my mind.... it's seems like last year.... if was Named Pershing LLC or something like that instead of the long Northwestern Mutual blah blah blah.
I'm hoping that it's just an issue where they haven't uploaded their Server just yet...and that it will be uploaded soon.
I'm having the same issue. Interestingly enough, every time I try it, I see that the forms are saved in my intuit account under documents. But it's not showing up in turbotax. I've spent 2 hours on the phone with support and no resolution.
If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser.
See the following TurboTax Help articles for potential fixes:
We are using TurboTax desktop on Mac. I have tried the import via Firefox, safari, and chrome.
Was support able to assist?
Unfortunately no, their solution was to do it manually which partially defeats the purpose of paying for the software. Especially the form 1099-B. Lots of questions when doing it manually that I don’t have the answer to.
Thanks Cat
Appreciate the feedback.
I'm using Desktop on a MacBook Pro
I've tried all the Browsers available for Mac (FF, Chrome, Safari, Brave)
I'm still waiting for March 15th, as that is the last official date that Northwestern Mutual
said that they will upload the Consolidated version of the 1099's.
Thanks to ALL that are responding to my post.
I agree Nayan..... "Lots of questions when doing it manually that I don’t have the answer to."
I just tried doing mine manually yesterday... just to see what it entails.... and ran in to exactly what you just said.
What happens if you change your password for Northwestern Mutual? Sometimes TurboTax doesn't like some symbols in passwords and I have seen this work for others. Try that and let me know if that works.
I only have letters and numbers in my password.
Thanks Catina...... will give that a try
Changed my password..... no luck.
Just going to wait until March 15th
I just came across this from another user: What fixed it for me was a security setting under Windows Settings, Network & Internet, Advanced Network Settings, Internet Options, Security tab. Mine had defaulted to a Medium High security zone. I changed it to Medium and that fixed it.
Sorry to have you keep trying things, but I'm trying to find solutions. Can you let me know if this works?
Is there a mac equivalent to this? In chrome, I tried turning off all privacy and security features and it still didn't work. The handshake is happening between intuit and northwestern mutual because each time I try the documents are imported into my intuit documents folder but it's just not showing up in turbotax.
