Im getting less back when i made more this year

I made $10,000 more then what I made last year according to my w2's. Why is my return $1000 less then last year's

IT is very possible that by making more, you qualify for less. When you have a higher income, you qualify for a higher tax bracket, meaning that you receive less of a return.
