Form 9465 and 1040 V payment voucher

I elected to make a payment of 353 with my filing thru direct debit but it did not come out of my checking account yet can I assume this will take a few days and I do not have to mail it? Also if I want to make extra payments over the monthly amount do I send them by check with the Form 1040-V to address on form

If your installment plan has not been approved yet (it can take up to 30 days), then you will need to send in your 1st installment payment by 4/18/17. If it is not received, then the IRS may not honor the agreement.

Make payment with the 1040-V voucher or pay directly on the website.
