Can I file a different tax return ( my parents) using the same login account or do I need to create a new login?

TurboTax Online is only good for one return. You would have to create a new login, but you can use the same email address with a different username. Tip: If you're preparing multiple returns for family members, it's more economical to switch to the TurboTax CD/Download software, which lets you e-file up to 5 federal returns at no additional cost. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302087

If you are using the Online version, you would have to do a new, separate online account (with a different user ID) for each federal return you want to prepare and purchase for each (if you need to use a paid version of the online software). If you do another return under the same username, it will override the one you already filed and lose everything for that return.

You can still use your same email address (for up to 5 online accounts) if you want to get notifications, but the username must be a new one for each online account you create.
