The IRS does not require you to enter a state ID or drivers license to e-file. So you can skip it if you want to.. There are some states that are pretty picky about entering a state ID or drivers license to e-file the state. I am in IL and I know IL is very picky. Not sure about PA. If e-filing without a current PA ID is a problem then just e-file the federal and mail the state return.
The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue does not require you to enter your state ID or driver's license information. They indicate they will not reject your electronically filed return but entering the information might speed up the processing of your return.
Please see the bottom of the PA e-File information page for more details.
