Sorry---if the results of your tax return say that you have federal tax due, you are not getting a federal refund. It cannot be both. Look at your federal Form 1040. If you are getting a refund, it will be shown on line 35a. If you owe tax due it will be shown on line 37. There will be an amount on one of those lines or the other---but not both.

If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

You either have a tax due or a refund, not both. Unless it's on different returns like federal and state or for different years. Why are you expecting a refund? Is your return missing some payments like an extension payment or estimated payments?
