If I worked as a receptionist for about 2-3 days, and got a paycheck from them (about $260) should I expect a W2 from that employer?

I haven’t received my w2 from this employer yet and it’s 2/5. I tried calling but no one directs me to anyone that can help, and when I got ahold of HR, they don’t answer, I leave a message and no one calls me back. It’s been three weeks since I’ve been trying.

If you're unable to get your Form W-2 from your employer, contact the Internal Revenue Service at 800-TAX-1040. The IRS will contact your employer or payer and request the missing form.

When you started did you fill out a W4 form to give them?  Did they take any taxes out of your pay?  They might have paid you as a self employed independent contractor.
