If I owe taxes, when do they need to be paid, and will the amount I owe be deducted from my return?

This is the first year that I have owed money. I have three states that I filed in. I am getting a return from one state, and a federal return, but I will still owe money to 2 sates. My question is, can the money that I would be receiving be put directly towards what I owe?

You cannot have the amount you owe deducted from your other refunds, if that is what you are asking.  You have to make other plans for how you will pay the tax due.
