If I'm ready to file my returns but I'm waiting on a state specific return to be sent, does this mean it won't process until I get that return?

I lived partially in 2 states this year. I have all the info for one state but the previous state hasn't sent out a final form I need and when i get to the 'File' portion of turbotax it says i can continue but i am still missing that form.

Depending on the state, you can often file your federal return and each state return separately. When you get to the filing screens in TurboTax, you will be given the option to do this if it applies to the states your are filing for.
