If I change my address in the Intuit Account, why won't it change when I try and mail my tax return?

I live abroad and Turbotax wants to send my refund to an address I will no longer live at by the time it gets mailed. I followed the instructions to change the address on the Intuit Account, but that did not change anything. I have to mail it because I live in a foreign country. Otherwise, I would e-file. I reloaded and nothing is working. I can't call support because I no longer have a US number.

You can change the address that will appear and print out on your Form 1040 by entering the address in MY INFO when you prepare your tax return.  Use the address you want the IRS to use if they need to mail you a letter or a check.

Changing your address for the TurboTax account does not change an address on a tax return.

If you want the tax refund mailed to a different address then is shown on your tax return, then you will need to change the address on your return.

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen and then edit the mailing address in the section for address and phone.
